Your skin will look so soft, and youthful, it's insane! This is a small pet-peeve with this product, and despite the packaging flaw, it is extremely beautiful to look at, and it's equally beautiful on the skin.
I've personally just been placing some of the product on the back of my hand, and using my clean fingers to blend it in, but, I think I would have preferred a squeezable tube or bottle with a pump so that the product can stay sealed, and not get potentially contaminated. I'm still not sure I care about the applicator, the silicon wand seems unsanitary if you're supposed to use it to dab product directly onto your face (please don't). The gel formula is pretty light-feeling, but you see its effect immediately. Packed with blur technology, this universal primer provides a subtle, golden shimmer for ultimate luminosity. It’s enriched with four nourishing oils-corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil-to leave skin feeling incredibly soft without a greasy residue. Here's what it promises: Touche Élcat Blur Primer preps skin for foundation application, creating an improved, refined appearance: pores seem to be minimized, skin texture feels smoother, and skintone is more even. However, I gave this a try anyway, and it didn't make my forehead a reflective surface, on the contrary, it made my face look poreless, and I looked like I had a natural glow! The glitter is really not much cause for concern here, it does leave particles on your skin, but they are quite subtle, and evenly spread out across the areas you apply it, and since the glitter is very fine, you don't see it much until you start turning your head, and it begins to catch the light. Glitter and oily skin don't mix-discoball head is imminent. It has an odd applicator, and is filled with tiny gold flecks, which I'm sorry, I haven't voluntarily worn glitter on my face since I was eight. Well, that sentiment changed tenfold, when I got to try out both the YSL Touch Éclat Blur Perfector, and the Blur Primer, and I'm never looking back.Primers as I've mentioned, can be pretty hit or miss for me-with oily skin, I have found that mattifying primers do the trick for helping to control excess oil, but in exchange for oil control, you also look like you're wearing a mask all of the natural glow is gone, and you're left with a poreless, yet cakey appearance: why is it so hard to have both oil control and luminance? I know that oily skin can be difficult to formulate products for, but, is our fate to forever look like scary porcelain dolls? Maybe not. I was beginning to question if primers were even necessary, or if they were just another product brands produce to make extra money. Recently, I'd all but given up on makeup primers I was tired of not being wowed, or seeing a dramatic difference from when I used them, and when I didn't.
