For someone that wants support for her small business but turning down clients for a mistake is blow mind. I would have gave her 5 stars but that is just ridiculous. I got a confirmation email & then about an hour later the appointment was cancelled due to & I quote “ Hello, we are currently not accepting previous clients who were either “No Show, Or unable to meet due to being Late, no Mask or bringing +1. I decided to take another shot of booking another appointment w her after I finally found someone to watch my son. No where In the confirmation or follow up email/text does it remind clients of her policy. She turned me down due to COVID & marked the appointment as a “NO SHOW”. Ok, I understand your policy says “no kids, no extra people” when you’re first booking the appointment. Came into my first appointment, I brought my 4 year old son. It is still a great studio and seems to work for a lot of folks, and to be clear my results were not terrible at all, just be wary if this is your first time. Again, I understand the policy with time, but I feel that it’s still important to make sure your customers feel completely comfortable and safe. I was also pretty nervous with it being my first time, but I was rushed to hurry and get my clothes off which didn’t help. I understand there is a time crunch, and for some people it works beautifully, but for someone like me I would have liked for the process to have been done more carefully without rush. Again my process took 25 minutes total in comparison to his which took an hour and a half. When I told her about my boyfriends results being nearly perfect after his first time, she didn’t have an explanation as to why his results were perfect and mine weren’t. I called back to express concerns over my results, and lady on the phone said that your first time will not be perfect because of the 3 stages of hair growth, and by the third time I should get more perfect results. My boyfriend had also gotten waxed for the first time at a different studio, got a Brazilian as well and got perfectly smooth results. Because she moves so quickly, I honestly feel there was not enough time taken to ensure the wax was set long enough for all the hairs to be pulled out properly, so the end result was pretty prickly. If this is your first time getting waxed, be aware that in coming here, you may not get the greatest results for your first time. The process was very fast, it took approximately 25 minutes for both.
I went in for a Brazilian and underarm hair removal with Hana. Beautiful studio, fast and prompt service, and the parking lot makes life easy. This is an honest review from MY perspective and experience.
